Iris Blue is a series focused on the materiality of paper and experimentation. I printed my photographs, then scanned them again using ink that created unexpected “errors,” which I embraced to allow unpredictability in the images. I then continued to manipulate the scans in Photoshop to work on the blue.

The process is in two stages: physical experimentation and digital editing, which together explore both materiality and ambiguity.
