I graduated from The Glasgow School of Art in 2024, where I developed a practice that explores inner states with an otherworldly and surreal imagery. Photography and videography allow me to create a dissociative space where physical reality does not matter, to focus on a visual reconstruction of thought and emotion.

My creative process often begins with poetry and music. Writers such as Alejandra Pizarnik and Sylvia Plath have shaped my interest in inner worlds. In my photography, I capture suspended and dreamlike moments of women.

I also explore the notion of abjection, liminal spaces, and the monstrous-feminine, based on Julia Kristeva and Barbara Creed. I use moving image and sound to create an immersive and multi-sensory experience centred on the body. This medium allows me to create another fragmented and intense world.

Both dreamlike and nightmarish, my practice presents an ambiguous reverie where the duality of emotions is multiplied tenfold. Drawing on the symbolism of colour, light and shadow, I am interested in the intersection of the physical world and the world of ideas.
